   The main theme of cycle “EMPTY” is relationships between memory and place. Occasionally I have had a feeling that a certain place or room has its memory – perhaps because it contains traces of the time that has passed away. It is as if I could catch some thoughts of persons that have inhabited the place. Offices after closing, classrooms after lessons, motels after the guests have left, and apartments in the morning: they are full of dreams, thoughts and energies by persons unknown to me. These places seem to become alive in my imagination, I am full of expectations that something is going to happen; indeed, there is even a hint of scare in the air… Yet they remain silent and still, with their secrets and memories unrevealed.
